Gutter And Downpipe Cleaning Packages
Blocked gutters and downpipes can cause a serious problem to not only the roof but to walls. In recent cases, they have been the cause of major flooding and even roof collapse. Leading commercial insurance providers are starting to recommend that a regular gutter clean is undertaken to commercial and industrial properties and this is being reflected in reduced premiums.
We provide a Planned Preventative Maintenance Package which usually includes 2 scheduled gutter cleans and surveys a year. These are often carried between November and January after the leaves have fallen as well as the start of the summer holidays which is usually when we find shoes, water bottles, tennis balls and other objects that pupils have discarded.
Bike Shelters And Canopies
Bike and scooter shelters enable a healthier lifestyle and community but over the years they can become dirty, smelly and a litter trap. Bucks Pressure Washing's cleaning process is usually a one-off clean as and when required, but for some of our customers, it's a scheduled clean carried out annually.
Our in-depth process involves cleaning all the powder-coated or galvanised frames as well as pressure washing the acrylic panels. Once the shelter has been fully cleaned we jetwash the gound inside and outside as well as bike staple bars and frames. Once the clean has been performed the whole shelter will be fully disinfected and sanitised.
Hall And Gym Cladding Cleaning
Cladded hall or gymnasium walls look amazing when new but are prone to gathering algae especially on northern elevations. Depending on the cladding material we will either pressure wash or chemical wash from the ground as well as applying a biocide to prolong the life of the clean.
As building cleaning is usually a large scale project, RAMS are produced prior to commencement. The area we are working on is cordoned and bollarded off and usually we can work around pupils and lesson periods without causing an interruption.
Wet Pour Playground And Play Area Cleaning
Wet pour rubber surfaces look astonishing when they are first laid and they are a great asset for school playgrounds. Over time can gather dirt, algae and moss. This not only discolours the surface but makes them slippery and prone to collecting ice over the winter months.
Our professional cleaning process uses high-pressure steam or water to restore the original colours of the wet pour or soft play tiled area. After a full clean has been carried out we will apply an antibacterial disinfectant and algaecide to all the surfaces, this will not only keep the area safe but also slow the growth of algae in the future months.
Bird & Pigeon Proofing
Pigeons and other birds can cause damage to health and quickly ruin walls as well as making play areas unusable to pupils and staff. As part of our cleaning programmes, we can also install a range of bird deterrents. We frequently install anti perching spikes on the walls and window ledges as well as parapets and high lighting poles.
