With the spread of Covid across the globe, staff were forced to start working from home. This gave companies a prime opportunity to give the outside or their property a full clean in preparation for when everyone returns to work.
Although this project was completed whilst Buckinghamshire and England were in Lockdown, we still carried it out over a weekend as there was a skeleton staff operating through the week and it was simpler to have the whole area to ourselves.
There were 3 surface types to clean, Concrete, Tarmac and Block Paving. The concrete pressure washing was completed after the area had a coating of TFR to remove oil and fuel around the loading area and it also helps to remove general dirt without having to apply excess pressure on the concrete.
With many parking areas; this being no exception, one of the main reasons to clean the surface was to re mark the parking bays for the staff and visitors. Usually block paving parking layouts use different coloured blocks as spaces, but with time, dirt makes all the blocks look the same. The tarmac area was painted, but the lines were old and needed repainting, but it’s best to clean the area beforehand.

Jim tackled a very large brick driveway and all of our garden patio areas in June. The surfaces came up like new, especially the sandstone and cement block that were dark grey with mould and lichen. He brought the right equipment for the job, resanded all of the brick in the drive, and left everything neat and tidy when he finished. Highly recommend!
